“I'm a fish and chipocrite... so I love places with great vegan, vegetarian and fish options. Habanero's is the only place in Cruces that gives plenty of options for vegan, veggie and fish. The mahi mahi tacos are my favorite ever tacos... potato tacos a close second”

“Extremely flavorful and tasty Mexican food! It felt like eating a home cooked meal. Multiple vegan options too. We got the veggie burrito and veggie enchiladas. Both were excellent and were filling. Came with a side of rice and beans. Ask for the spicy sauce to add even more spice and flavor to the dish. Tamarind Jarritos was available here and rounded out an excellent meal. Highly recommended!”

“Highly recommend! The tagline “healthy Mexican” felt true. It was not greasy and we actually felt really good after our meals, which is unusual for Mexican/Tex-mex cuisine. The vegan enchilada was loaded with veggies! Even the cheese enchilada plate was not greasy and was flavorful. The house soup and the lentil soup were both a nice touch with the meals. We really appreciated this place! Counter service with a lot of indoor dining space inside and a number of outdoor shaded patio tables as well.”
